Oak Meadows Ranch
Petition City of Wildomar

Petition - You Can Help - By signing your name below and why you believe Oak Meadows Ranch should be able to continue sharing the rescued horses with the community and should not have to pay a $10,000 Conditional Use Permit to the City of Wildomar. Once you have filled out your name, the city and state you live in and your reason why it would be appreciated if you send us an email at bluepearlproject@gmail.com with your contact information.

Oak Meadows Ranch needs your help. The city of Wildomar has requested that Oak Meadows Ranch get what is called an Conditional Use Permit so Oak Meadows Ranch can continue to share the rescued, unwanted horses with the visitors and continue to allow visitors use of the property. The cost of this Conditional Use Permit may be as high as $10,000. With your help Oak Meadows Ranch from donations can continue to share the rescued, unwanted horses with the community such as with special needs children, special needs adults, senior citizens, children, teenagers and adults of all ages. Visitors will be able to still be able to groom, care and exercise horses and ride the rideable horses and for those that need to do community service with this Conditional Use Permit. Oak Meadows Ranch needs your help for all of this to continue in the future or the city of Wildomar may not allow visitors visiting the ranch if the Conditional Use Permit is not paid. These rescued, unwanted horses need your help, love and affection. Without our help many of these horses would be dead today. Many would have been slaughtered and used for food in other countries. You currently are hearing on the local news that many well known companies to us are using horse meat for food and serving it to people. Blue Pearl Project and Oak Meadows Ranch would appreciate if you spread the word that a donation of any kind, small or large would be greatly appreciated so that the Conditional Use Permit fee can be raised and be paid to the city of Wildomar so that the city of Wildomar will be happy and those that have and still do plan to visit the rescued, unwanted horses and use the facilities at Oak Meadows Ranch can.

IT IS TRAGIC THAT THERE ARE SO MANY UNWANTED AND ABUSED HORSES IN AMERICA WHO ARE NOW FACING INHUMANE TREATMENT AT SLAUGHTER HOUSES. IT IS FORTUNATE THAT THERE ARE ORGANIZATIONS LIKE OAK MEADOWS WHO ARE WILLING TO SPEND THEIR TIME AND MONEY ON THE RESCUE OF THESE ILL-FATED HORSES. OAK MEADOWS AND SIMILAR INSTITUTIONS SHOULD BE APPLAUDED FOR THESE EFFORTS AND NOT UNDULY PUNISHED BY THE ASSESSMENT OF ENORMOUS CONDITIONAL USE FEES, PARTICULARLY WHEN THEY ARE PROVDING A PUBLIC SERVICE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.

Oak Meadows Ranch is such a blessing to these horses and provides each one a journey toward healing with affection and love. My family and I love going down to volunteer our time and to give all we can to these beautiful horses. Oak Meadows promotes education to horse owners about adequate health care and proper nutrition for their equine partners. They are a wonderful ranch and our community needs them .. as do the horses that without them wouldn't have a chance.

We need this place! The city provides no animal control services for equines. At least they are doing something positive for the community and have greatly improved the property. You should be supporting them, not tearing them down!

I have been searching for a place with horses that I could volunteer my time at. I found Oak Meadows Ranch and the horses they rescue. What a wonderful job they are doing for the horses and the community. I now have a place to take my children to learn about horses and all that it takes to keep them healthy and happy. I look forward to supporting the ranch and their endeavors in horse rescue. City of Wildomar, please be reasonable and let the ranch have the chance it needs to become a long running rescue and a place for the community to come together.

Oak Meadows is a wonderful part of the community in Wildomar. My daughter loves going there to volunteer her time to help in any way that is needed to care for these beautiful animals. She has met some wonderful people who also have a love for animals and are looking for a way to give back to their community. Oak Meadows is a perfect example of what makes a city and community great. People coming together with a common cause to make their city a better place to live. Please help our community by making it possible for Oak Meadows to continue doing their important work without having exorbitant fees placed on them. Our family is excited about finding a place that our daughter can continue doing what she has a passion for...learning about and caring for horses.

I've personally never seen a more well run and compassionate horse rescue than Oak Meadows Ranch. Their commitment to the horses and the people that volunteer and the community is the best thing Wildomar could want for a private ranch that shares it with the community. Not to mention they are non profit, so this is sad to see such a hefty permit required by the city for a non profit that is doing so much good. Please city of Wildomar reconsider this permit for Oak Meadows Ranch so that they can continue to bring more good to the city and people of Wildomar.

Oak Meadows is doing the horses and the community a service by rescuing these beautiful animals and having anyone who would like to help out a chance to work with the horses. I love this ranch.

Oak Meadows is using their own money to not only rescue these animals but they are helping the community also.
