Afacalise also known as Lisa is a rescued Thoroughbred horse. She is 6 years old. Her breeder breeds race horses that win races in the Southern California horse race tracks. The breeder’s wife was diagnosed with cancer and having 100 horses they just left Lisa in her stall and pasture. A young woman purchased Lisa and had her for about 5 months. It was difficult for her to train Lisa and would use a whip and spurs. Lisa also wasn't fed enough to keep her weight where it should be. Lisa was rescued and is now enjoying her life, being fed twice a day and having carrots and oats as snacks. Lisa is being trained with patients and love now.
